I've started a series of 30 second art videos I call 'Tiny Tales'. This is one of them, the first of the lot to be uploaded. In it I nod to both Ray Bradbury, who died this year, and Nikola Tesla... so it's essentially in honor of/dedicated to them.
I've been in video-land quite a bit lately, mostly working on long and involved projects that take a lot of time and are easy yo put aside and work on later. I was all up in that zone yesterday, having worked on my 'Starseed Mystery' video for about 8 hours. The video's the most involved and complex one I've attempted so far, so even after the 25 or so hours I've put into it altogether (started it at school last year), it's still a ways from complete.
So, last night before bed I started playing with an effect idea I had, and about an hour and a half later I had this video. Added the credits and fixed up some stuff today, uploaded it, and viola! Nice to go to bed satisfied that I'd completed something I enjoy, and it sure breaks up the intensity of the advanced and tricky techniques I'm using (or attempting to use) in the 'Starseed Mystery' video.
Here's Tiny Tale #3, 'The Goryteller's Electric Nocturne'
