Much to our pleasure, ::OCTOBUSE:: discovered yesterday that we were featured in The Guardian's Music Blog, on November 29! The feature is HERE. It was a contest of sorts, where the act with the most comments would be interviewed in the blog the following week, however... there is an unfortunate element to this, which is that we did not see the email notice about the post until Dec. 2, seemingly *just* after the comment option had ended. And although we know that between our friends and fans we would have received enough comments to have had a very good chance at the interview, we missed that chance. Regardless, it's a HUGE boon and great publicity, so we are utterly grateful and delighted for the mention!! Congrats the the winner!
:: Below is a copy of the text from the blog:

"Here's a few of our favourite unsigned bands and solo artists who've submitted tracks to us via GuardianWitness. This week we've chosen a range of music that features electronic instruments.
We'd like to hear what you think. Take a listen to these 5 songs and let us know which is your favourite and why in the discussion thread below.
Whichever band gets the most recommendations on the thread will be interviewed (if they're available) on TheGuardian.com/Music next week."

:: Our track was third on the list of 5, and below is the included text and the SC link to the song:

"A musical collaboration between Mita Lupa from Oregon, US and Shirokuma from Manchester, UK. Their sound is playful and stylistically varied, characterised by female/male vocal interplay, surrealist "flash fiction" lyrics and catchy melodies."
